This project is ongoing and explores the artist’s loss of their grandfather through the medium of collage. “It Keeps a Most Unusual Diary” combines images, words, and subtractive techniques to visually represent grief and the ways in which the artist is processing that grief.
The collages are not meant to be taken as standalone, individual pieces, but rather as part of the whole: a collection, or diary, of the experience of grief.
